Westminster Rescue Mission, located on about 27 rural acres east of Westminster, is an organization devoted to helping men get a new start on life. Its new 30,000-sq.ft. dormitory facility, a design-build project with the participation of the Commissioners of Carroll County, James F. Knott Construction Co., Inc., neighboring Random House, Inc., and many others, will further its goals by feeding and housing up to 65 men. Construction was completed in Summer 2002.
