The architectural design firm of Dean Robert Camlin & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Melvin Arbaugh with the intent of providing a full range of architectural services for educational, commercial, governmental, industrial, religious, and residential buildings--for new construction, restorations, and renovations. In the years since then we have not specialized in any single type of building project, preferring instead to offer personal service and quick response for local clients and those outside of Carroll County.

Mr. Camlin joined the firm in 1982 as an intern project manager. Under Mr. Arbaugh's direction his responsibilities gradually increased to encompass every aspect of building design and construction review. In 1986 Mr. Camlin qualified for and passed the Architect Registration Exam. He purchased the firm in 1991 from Mr. Arbaugh.

From the beginning our company has been committed to offering creative, energy-efficient and cost-effective planning and design, delivered on schedule. Our reputation of offering personal, high quality professional service has allowed our firm to prosper. Our greatest satisfaction is the recommendations and referrals of highly-satisfied clients.

Now entering our thirtieth year of operation we welcome the opportunity to provide architectural services from conception and master planning through design development, construction documents and administration of the construction contract. We are proud of our past accomplishments. We believe that design is problem-solving, but the solution must be one that goes beyond simply housing a function.
